Produced by bees pollinating organic plants and flowers in the tropical rainforest, many plants and flowers have been used for many generations for their wholesome medicinal properties to promote overall wellness. The honey is organically harvested and processed without chemicals, pesticides, and antibiotics.
Our Pure honey is single-source and contains no other ingredients. Moreover, it is 100% traceable to specific locations of the West African Rainforest and never mixed with other types of honey of unknown origins, which is why our honey has a rich, somewhat dark hue with a distinct, complex, and delicious taste.
Johnson Tropical Rainforest (WARF) honey is never heated, always raw and unpasteurized, and contains natural enzymes. Ours is simply honey sourced from the West African Rainforest in its purest form without any processing involving filtration, heat, or pasteurization, thereby maintaining its nutrients, wholesome properties, and distinctive taste.
Our raw honey is sustainably produced in small batches. We help protect honeybees and rainforests by creating a financial incentive for local inhabitants to maintain and preserve the rainforests. Deforestation caused by new construction, slash-and-burn farming, and a rapidly growing population searching for livelihoods have already destroyed a significant portion of West Africa’s rainforests. Bee farming which relies on nectar from the rainforest provides an economic incentive for local bee farmers to preserve the remaining rainforest, among other activities.
